Terms & Conditions

1. Applicability
These Terms apply to all offers, orders, and agreements made through our webshop. By placing an order, you agree to these Terms.

2. Products & availability
We sell physical books (including hardcover books). Product photos and descriptions are for guidance; minor differences may occur. If an item is out of stock, we may cancel the order and refund you.

3. Prices
All prices are shown in EUR and include/exclude VAT as indicated at checkout. Shipping costs are shown at checkout. Obvious pricing mistakes can be corrected.

4. Orders & contract
An order is confirmed once you receive an order confirmation email. We may refuse or cancel orders in case of suspected fraud, incorrect pricing, or stock issues.

5. Payment
Payments are processed via Shopify’s checkout and available payment providers. Your order will be processed after successful payment.

6. Shipping & delivery
We ship from the Netherlands. Estimated delivery time is usually 1–2 weeks (depending on destination and carrier delays). Tracking (Track & Trace) is provided when available.
International orders may be subject to customs duties/taxes; these costs are the customer’s responsibility.

7. Returns & right of withdrawal (EU/EEA consumers)
If you are a consumer in the EU/EEA, you generally have the right to withdraw within 14 days after receiving your order. Returned items must be in original condition.
Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

8. Damaged, missing, or wrong items
If your order arrives damaged, incomplete, or incorrect, contact us at iammylanguage@hotmail.com within 48 hours of delivery with your order number and photos (if damaged). We will offer a suitable solution.

9. Liability
We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our liability is limited to the order value, unless mandatory law states otherwise.

10. Intellectual property
All content on this website (text, images, design, logos) is owned by or licensed to us and may not be used without permission.

11. Force majeure
We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events beyond our control (e.g., carrier disruptions, customs delays, strikes, extreme weather).

12. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by Dutch law. Disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Amsterdam, unless mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.
